So many little things happened today. Immediately after waking up, I saw another deer. There is so much wildlife around here. Me and my partner both agree that we have never seen this many chipmunks. And the butterflies!

I haven't seen this many butterflies since I was a kid in my grandma's, who was a part of the gardening community and entered local competitions frequently, garden. My favorite one, a blue and black butterfly, flew off before I could get a pic. I will report in tomorrow if I'm finally able to 🫡

spoiler: i did not see them again 😔 also the brown butterfly might be a moth? HAHAHA

Also, the first hike of the trip was today! It promised a view at the outlook point but the trees were too overgrown to see anything and I want my money back, lol. Even if the end was a disappointment, I always like a good lil hike through the forest.

A couple of other silly things. While driving, and mind you this is rural Wisconsin, we see the flag from One Piece on someone's barn, lol.

Either we have found a weeb, a leftist, or a confused grandma that just really likes pirates and has no idea, hahaha.

Additionally, on our drives, the funniest sign was found. First off, who are these boys? And is this their catchphrase? Or is that what people say when the boys are encountered? Too many questions, no enough answers. I need How 'Bout It Boys lore ASAP.
